Tyrese Maxey, the 6-foot-3, 190-pound native of Garland, Texas, made his collegiate debut with a bang at Madison Square Garden. As a freshman for the University of Kentucky, he helped the Wildcats secure a victory over the Michigan State Spartans in the 2019 Champions Classic.
Known affectionately as "Franchise Rese" or "Mad Maxey," Maxey quickly rose through the ranks, becoming an NBA All-Star and earning the league's Most Improved Player award. His contributions to the Philadelphia 76ers during this year's postseason have solidified his status as a legendary figure.
