Gareth Southgate has refused to be drawn on his future as England manager after watching his side suffer another heartbreak in the final of the European Championship.
England were beaten 2-1 by Spain in the final at Wembley Stadium, with match-winner Ander Herrera scoring in the 91st minute.
It was a cruel blow for Southgate, who had led England to the semi-finals of the World Cup in 2018 and the final of the Nations League in 2019.
After the match, Southgate said he needed time to reflect on his future.
"I need to take time to think about what's best for me and for the team," he said.
"I'm not going to make any rash decisions. I need to take some time to think about what's best for me and for the team."
Southgate's contract runs until 2022, but there is speculation that he could leave his post if he feels that he is not the right man to take England forward.
