Lehmann Returns to Bundesliga

Jens Lehmann, the former Arsenal goalkeeper, has joined Borussia Dortmund as an assistant coach. The 52-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the Bundesliga club.

Lehmann, who made 200 appearances for Arsenal between 2003 and 2008, will work alongside head coach Edin Terzic.

He has previously worked as a coach at VfB Stuttgart, FC Augsburg, and Hertha Berlin.

Lehmann's Playing Career

Lehmann began his playing career at Schalke 04 in 1989.

He moved to Borussia Dortmund in 1999 and won the Bundesliga title in 2002.

Lehmann joined Arsenal in 2003 and won the Premier League title in 2004.

Lehmann's International Career

Lehmann made 61 appearances for Germany.

He was part of the team that won the FIFA World Cup in 2006.

Lehmann retired from international football in 2008.

Lehmann's Coaching Career

Lehmann began his coaching career at VfB Stuttgart in 2014.

He has since worked at FC Augsburg and Hertha Berlin.

Lehmann is now an assistant coach at Borussia Dortmund.
